Five Goalkeepers Lincoln City Could Explore a Loan Deal For

Harvey Davies – Liverpool / Crawley Town

Another 6ft 3in stopper, Davies has now had two loans in League Two, with Crawley and Crewe. He lost his starting palce at Crawley after Christmas and was recalled, but it looks likely another loan could be on the cards.

Davies joined Liverpool at under-nine level and progressed through the academy, earning his first professional contract in 2021. He was included on the bench for Champions League fixtures during an injury crisis and later featured for the first team in a pre-season friendly against Crystal Palace in Singapore.

His senior experience has come through loans in the EFL. Davies made 32 appearances in all competitions for Crewe Alexandra during 2023/24, including a penalty save in their League Cup shootout victory over Sunderland. He later joined Crawley Town for the 2025/26 campaign after signing a new Liverpool contract, but lost his place to Jacob Chapman.

The 22-year-old has made 44 league appearances across those two loan spells. He was also part of the England squad that won the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and has since represented the country at Under-20 level.
