Izzy Brown

Every time I do one of these pieces, I come across Izzy Brown. He was once touted as a future Englan star, spending time on loan at Huddersfield, Luton and Leeds from Chelsea. He’s suffered a series of injuries and a huge loss of form, which sees him without a club.

The Peterborough-born star played up to Uner 20 level for England, and joined Preston last season, but failed to make an appearance. He ruptured his ACL in pre-season, and was released before the end of the last campaign for not being ‘of the required standard’.  He’s 25 now, and can operate anywhere across the front three, as well as in an attacking midfield role.
