Maxime Biamou

There are some question marks over Biamou’s fitness, but he too has recently been in Scotland with Dundee United. Biamou is known to us, he played for Sutton in the 2016/17 season and made a bit of a name for himself. He’s a big unit who scored five in 33 for Coventry in the Championship in 2020/21 He is certainly a focal point for an attack and is the sort of player I could see us going for.

I’m not sure he entirely fits the Mark Kennedy style, but of all the names on the list so far, his does stand out as a possible. With us going a bit longer, a like-for-like replacement for Hopper would be good, but that’s only if Biamou is fit. Obviously.
