Tam Courts insists Mark McNulty has earned Dundee United patience as he warns Tony Watt partnership will click - Daily Record

Anyone who recalls our first season back in the Football League will remember this man; he was a big signing for Coventry at the time, having previously been with Sheffield United. He hit 28 for the Sky Blues before a big money move to Reading, touted by some sources as being close to £1m.

He’s scored once in 17 matches for Reading since 2018/19, and has had several loan spells. He hit five goals in 21 outings for Sunderland in 2019/20, and has been with both Bibs and Dundee United, but without major success.

He said of Reading in January “With all the s*** I have seen there over the years, I’m just glad it’s going to be over and I don’t have to go back down there. I would probably be more happy to be unemployed than go through that s**** again.” Currently, he has his wish.
