Bradford’s Josh Neufville Wins Player of the Month
Bradford City wing-back Josh Neufville has been named Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for September after a standout run of form.
The twenty-four-year-old, a summer signing from AFC Wimbledon, impressed in the Bantams’ climb to the top of the table with decisive goals against Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City and Blackpool.
Manager Graham Alexander praised his new recruit’s impact.
“We are all delighted for Josh to win this award, it is very much deserved. He has made a great impact since joining and shown a great attitude to fit in straightaway,” said Alexander.
Neufville described the honour as a personal milestone.
“I am grateful to receive this award, it is something I have always wanted to achieve on a personal level,” he added.
The versatile full-back’s early-season performances have helped City build momentum under Alexander, whose side continue to balance attacking verve with defensive discipline.
Bradford’s next outing sees them travel to face Doncaster Rovers later this month.
