Five Players Lincoln City Might Have Scouted In The USL

Abdellatif Aboukoura – Loudoun

Aboukoura came through D.C. United’s youth setup before making his professional debut in 2021 at the age of 16. He scored his first senior goal in 2022 and developed into one of Loudoun’s key attacking players, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract in 2024 with an option for 2027. His breakout 2025 season brought 12 league goals, USL Championship Young Player of the Year honours and a place in the All-League Second Team.

Sadly, he did struggle with an injury of late and has only just come back. Loudoun are struggling, but his recent numbers show a winger still heavily involved despite the difficult run, averaging 4.27 shots per 90, 3.2 progressive runs and 2.85 fouls suffered, which points to a player carrying attacking responsibility even when the team are struggling.
