Arquímides Ordóñez – Loudoun
Here is one I like. Still young at 22, 6ft 2in, so a physical presence, and a player with MLS experience as well as European game time. Ordóñez is a Guatemalan international forward who came through the Columbus Crew and FC Cincinnati youth systems before signing a homegrown deal with Cincinnati in 2021. After spells with FC Cincinnati and FC Cincinnati 2, he came to Europe, playing for Östersund and Zimbru Chișinău.
He joined Loudoun United in 2025 on a deal running to the end of the 2026 season. He has also represented Guatemala at youth and senior level, having starred at the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship before making his senior debut later that year. He scored against England’s Group L opponents, Panama, in World Cup qualifying for his nation. Could be an interesting prospect.
He did only come on as a sub in the game Jez watched, playing on the right of a front three.
