The PFA Free Agent List Is Out: Is There Another Adam Reach For Lincoln City?

Will Keane

Keane came through Manchester United’s academy and made his senior debut in 2011 before loan spells with Wigan Athletic, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End. A permanent move to Hull City followed in 2016, and he later had spells with Ipswich Town and Wigan, where he scored 48 league goals in 118 appearances and won the League One Golden Boot in 2021/22. He joined Preston in 2023, was their top scorer the following season, and spent the second half of 2025/26 on loan at Reading after returning from injury.

I included Keane because he does have a reputation for goals, and he has had a decent career across plenty of Championship clubs. He’s done okay at Preston, but his recent loan at Reading was less than fruitful. Honesty shout: he’s not a player I’ve ever really rated, but I did once call Dene Cropper the next big thing, so I know nothing.
