This is the one signing that might be feasible. We’ve loaned out Zach Jeacock, and some believe we may bring in a number two to Wickens: I’m not so sure, but if we did, here is a free agent who fits our profile.
Boruc, a 6ft 5ins goalkeeper, came through the youth ranks in Sweden with IFK Värnamo, Husqvarna FF and Värnamo Södra FF before spells in England with Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion. He later joined Śląsk Wrocław, where his senior football came with the club’s reserve side, before moving to Hibernian in 2023. He made his first-team debut for Hibs in a Europa Conference League tie against Inter Club d’Escaldes, then made his league bow later that month against Livingston.
A loan move to Arbroath followed in January 2024, where he saved a penalty on his debut away at Ayr United, but he returned to Hibernian at the end of the season and was released in May 2025. The 23-year-old has since moved to Denmark, signing for FC Helsingør in July 2025, and made 24 league appearances for the club by June 2026.
