Mickel Miller
The 30-year-old started in non-league with Carshalton Athletic before spells with Hamilton Academical, Rotherham United and Plymouth Argyle, most recently spending two seasons with Huddersfield Town.
It’s not Miller’s fault, but my heart sank when I saw him on the list, knowing he’d been (wrongly) linked with a deal last week. Still, at 30, with League One his most recent division, there isn’t a deal here for him.
That didn’t stop him putting in a lively performance. He looks smaller than I imagined, and while he got around the pitch well, he didn’t stand out, and his impact for us was perhaps as important as Hakeeb Adelakun for them.
League One clubs, for the right price, might get something out of him.
