Fejiri Okenabirhie
The 30-year-old built his career in non-league before playing for Shrewsbury Town, Doncaster Rovers and Cambridge United, with his most recent spell coming in Egypt with Modern Sport.
Okenabirhie has had a decent career, and I don’t want to shoot the lad down, but I’d have been disappointed if we’d been linked with him four years ago, let alone now. He was here to help out, and hopefully someone was watching, but he was noticeably off the pace for me.
One moment in the second half he was played through, I think Smith and Miller combining, and he just didn’t have the pace to carry it to a one-on-one situation. In terms of technical ability, he could do well for a top-end National League side, but his League One days are surely over, let alone Championship chances.
