Evan Khouri
Khouri came through West Ham United’s academy before joining Grimsby Town, where he made more than 100 senior appearances before leaving at the end of last season. He’s still only 23 and believes he can play at a higher level than Grimsby.
I’m not 100% sure that level is the Championship. He’s young, sure, so that gives him an edge, but while he got about well, technically, he looked some way off the level. Bear in mind, this was League One against trialists and a handful of Imps without huge experience in the EFL, so you’d suggest it was League One quality.
I don’t think he is one we’ll be looking to put any budget towards, but a lower-end League One side might think a punt on his services is worth it.
