Tahvon Campbell
It seems only right to start with a picture of a player in a West Brom kit, doesn’t it?
This boy has just been released by Forest Green Rovers, but I really rated him during our encounter earlier in the season. He’s able to either play through the middle of the park as an attacker, or on either flank.
Firstly, let’s deal with his release. There are a few players in this list from League Two and I know I’m instantly going to get shouts of ‘but we should be aiming higher’. I wonder if Hereford said that when they picked up Sam Clucas on a free from us? Sometimes, players flop at one lower league club and then thrive elsewhere. Jon Nolan is another example.
Just because a player comes from the division we’ve just been in won’t mean he’s not up to the rigours of League One football, not at all.
What I liked about Campbell was his movement, he seemed alert and alive. He was playing up front for them and his goals per game looks poor, but then so did Macauley Bonne’s when he went to Leyton Orient.
His flexibility would fit nicely with us, he’s got the potential to develop as he’s still young and rather ironically, he spent the last few months of the season on loan with Gillingham where he made six League One appearances.
Remember, I’m not saying we’re in for this player, merely that I could see where he’d add value to the side.

Interesting read Gary, personally I agree with Mandron. He’d be a good addition to the squad.
Understood Danny Cowley to have indicated he would be looking at National League and Non League, any thoughts on players from there?
Facts about the manager is all we actually care about, especially now it’s reported he’s being interviewed by West Brom. You keep telling us you’ve got his phone number Gary. Call it!
