Imps’ CEO Liam Scully has admitted that players could be loaned out in January, as the Imps look to improve the squad.
It’s no real surprise that players could be on the move; it’s happened most transfer windows and always will. We’ve got some players not getting the minutes they require and that isn’t good for them or their further career. That’s a point acknowledged by the top brass at the club, as reported earlier today.
“It’s clear there’s going to be some movement out,” Scully told Lincolnshire Live. “There are players who aren’t getting the game time that they want. I’m pretty sure that come the middle or the end of December, there’ll be a knock on the door from a few players, and we’ll look to find the right pathways for them.”
Of course, that’s got tongue wagging as to who might be on their way. I think there are two it applies to more than anyone else, but I think others might want some regular football.
