9: Matt Rhead

Who is our longest-serving number nine? He is the quintessential number nine, a target man, a behemoth in Imps history and a man with three winner’s medals on his mantelpiece, something few Imps players can boast. Yep, it’s the big man.

I doubt anyone could wrestle the shirt off him after he was given it in 2015/16. Yeo had it for two seasons, Tom Hopper for three, but Big Rheady had it for four years. Four successful years, I’d say.
