11: Scott Kerr

Rats. To make this team balanced, I’d hoped for a winger or wide midfielder to be the holder of the 11 shirt, but it’s not. It’s workmanlike midfielder Scott Kerr, who wore 11 between 2005 and 2011. Six seasons, spanning a pretty challenging time, but Kerr cannot be blamed for our demise over those years. I firmly believe had we kept him in the side throughout the 2010/11 season we’d never have gone down, but there we go.
Since Kerr, the only other central midfielders to hold the shirt have been creative – Jon Nolan, Billy Knott and most recently, Ethan Hamilton.
