10 Worst Lincoln City Signings of the EFL Era

2. Jaden Brown

Jaden Brown had the pedigree. Spurs academy. Championship experience. Quick, technical, a good fit for wing-back roles. He was supposed to be a first-team regular, but he made just four league starts and sixteen total appearances.

There were glimpses of quality in pre-season, but once the campaign got underway, he was either anonymous or ineffective. Even when Michael Skubala handed him opportunities, he struggled. His outings against Cambridge and Blackpool did little to endear him to his new manager. A later move to St Mirren didn’t reignite his career either. At least he was a free transfer, just one who delivered next to nothing.
