Ewing is another Wales Under 21 international, and a former Leicester City player released in the summer. Now 22, he’s emerging from the shadow of youth team football and looking to be a real prospect.
He’s got two goals and an assist, but his play is about much more than that. He’s comfortable on the ball and is able to press the Iron forward in a Tom Bayliss style.
Physically, he’s adapted well to senior football, and he’s sure to be on the long list of plenty of EFL scouts over the coming weeks.
Having done a lot of research for this article, this is one player I really like the look of, and one I think could well fit into our squad.
