Abdul Abdulmalik (Boreham Wood)
Abdul Abdulmalik is one of my favourite wingers in the National League; carries such positivity + unpredictability throughout his play.
Such quick feet, matched w/ terrific balance + agility.
Wonderful goal in Boreham Wood’s match 🆚 Yeovil this afternoon!

Abdulmalik is only 22, but he’s got a full season with Boreham Wood behind him, bagging 12 goal involvements. He’s scored four this season, and there is definitely an air of the Bruno Andrade about him.
He came from a middling London club academy (Millwall in this instance, QPR in Andrade’s) and looks to have qualities suited to the likes of Peterborough. In fact, he has Posh written all over him, not unlike David Ajiboye. He doesn’t just score goals, but he takes players on, loving a 1 v 1 dribble.
He’s eye-catching when in full flight, and while there are elements of his game that would need EFL shaping, his raw energy and attacking mindset would be useful for any League One side from the bench.
