Six Players Lincoln City Should Consider In The Summer Transfer Window

Kelly N’Mai

Kelly N’Mai often gets mentioned on this site, especially after his performance against us in the FA Cup. The midfielder, who has developed through the system at Salford City, has been on the radar of a number of clubs, and has a little bit of something special about him. Salford are the club he joined in 2020 after moving to the United Kingdom with his family, before that he had been scouted by Ajax and later spent time on trial with both Manchester United and Manchester City.

He made his senior debut for Salford in 2021 and has gradually become a regular part of the first-team picture. Early loan spells with Warrington Rylands and Chester helped him gain experience in senior football before he returned to establish himself at Salford, where he has since accumulated more than 80 league appearances and signed a new contract in 2024.

He’s got ten goal involvements this season, and he loves to get on the ball and run at defenders. He could play wide left, but is really versatile, dropping into midfield and even covering at left back. He’s the sort of solution Michael Skubala likes around the squad, but if we were to go up, he’d have a lot to prove in the second tier.
