Nine Obscure Europe-Based African Players That Could Interest Lincoln City

Ibrahima Seck

Ibrahima Seck is a 21-year-old Senegalese attacking midfielder currently playing for FK Sūduva on loan from Raków Częstochowa. A former Senegal U20 international, he featured at both the Africa U20 Cup of Nations and the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2023, making three appearances at the latter tournament.

Seck progressed into senior football with Raków, featuring in the Ekstraklasa and Europa Conference League qualification, although first-team opportunities were limited. He moved to Lithuania in 2026 and has immediately become a regular for Sūduva, starting all 11 A Lyga matches so far and scoring once from midfield.

Why Lincoln? Seck is not unlike Tom Bayliss: lots of ball carrying, good passing range, a handful of interceptions per game. He’s in the thick of the action for his side, he’s got a little bit of quality as well, representing Senegal at youth level. He has four goal involvements this month alone, and can play anywhere across the front three, as well. A recent clip shows his ability to press high and win the ball, before beating a defender and squaring unselfishly for a goal – find that here.
