Top 100 Lincoln City Players Of 21st Century (Part 2)

Over the course of the last week, we’ve been asking Stacey West readers to vote for their five favourite Lincoln City players of the 21st Century.

It seemingly wasn’t an easy process. Across a whopping 565 votes, we got 113 different players, and what was going to be a top 25 has turned into something very different. Yesterday, we ran down numbers 100-60, and today, you get them in two parts. First up, 59-41, and then on the podcast this evening, Chris and Ben will discuss 40-26.

Next week, on the podcast, we’re going to run down numbers 25-1 in a special episode.

Without further ado, here are more of your 100 favourite Lincoln City players of the 21st Century.

I strongly suspect many of this season’s squad will drop into the top 100, and Dom Jefferies is the latest. Dom has been with City for two seasons and had a decent opening campaign in 2024/25. Last season, he came back from injury to play a pivotal role from the bench, scoring against Cardiff, who released him as a youngster.

58: Freddie Draper

I’m delighted to see Freddie on the list. He’s been with the senior squad for a few seasons now, initially making waves for the Under 18s. It’s not been a linear road to success for the striker, but last season, he looked to be growing into a real handful, bullying defenders.

57: Michael O’Connor

Michael O’Connor had two spells with the Imps. The first was an impressive loan before he set off on his career, and the second came at the end, as he returned to the Bank to help earn us the title in 2018/19. He scored the first goal of our League One stay as well. Top player, and a top bloke to boot.
