Luke Graham – Possible
We apparently remain in the race for Dundee centre-half Luke Graham, with the 22-year-old continuing to attract interest from several clubs.
The Imps have already made their pitch for the defender, who is understood to be available for around £1.5 million, but Portsmouth are now expected to hold talks as they look to move ahead in the chase.
Alan Nixon has reported that City are ‘still in’ the hunt, while Derby County, Stoke City and Rangers have also been credited with interest. Portsmouth were linked with Graham in January, when they reportedly had a £1.5 million bid rejected, and they are now believed to be willing to do a deal if they can convince the player.
Graham came through Dundee’s academy and has since established himself in the first-team picture after loan spells away from the club. He has also earned Scotland youth recognition and a previous senior call-up, while clubs in England and abroad have been monitoring his progress. Norwich City, Preston North End and Charlton Athletic have all been mentioned previously, along with interest from Germany, Spain, Austria, Portugal and Poland.
At present, it feels as if Graham is still assessing his options and speaking to clubs, but there is nothing to suggest that we’re ahead of anyone, or indeed behind them at present.
