City were linked with Bosnia and Herzegovina international Dario Šarić in June, with Bolton Wanderers and Greek side Iraklis also reportedly interested. The 29-year-old midfielder had made 24 Süper Lig appearances for Antalyaspor during the 2025/26 season, having previously played in Italy for Carpi, Ascoli, Palermo and Cesena. Šarić has won ten senior international caps and was viewed as an experienced, versatile midfield option rather than a player likely to offer significant future resale value.
There has been no confirmed movement involving the Imps since that initial report. Šarić remains listed as an Antalyaspor player, although the Turkish Football Federation recorded his contract as expiring on June 30, 2026, leaving his immediate future unclear.
