Mikkel Ladefoged
Mikkel Ladefoged is set to become a Lincoln City player, with the giant striker watching Saturday’s defeat against Portsmouth from the stands at Sincil Bank.
The Imps have agreed a deal worth around £4 million in total for the Västerås forward, who will officially complete his move at the end of August. At 6ft 8in, he will provide a significant physical presence and another focal point for the City attack.
There had previously been uncertainty surrounding his situation after he missed the reverse fixture against Djurgårdens, with his manager describing him as “unavailable for selection”. However, his appearance at Sincil Bank this weekend offered the clearest possible indication of where his future lies.
This is the one name on the list we can be certain about. Ladefoged will be joining the Imps, with his arrival now seemingly just a matter of timing. It is believed he’ll be with us on August 30th, which is when his club have allowed the transfer to happen.
