17 – Adam Jackson
If we’re talking about good, honest footballers, then we’re certainly bringing Adam Jackson into the discussion. In this day and age, free transfer or not, anyone who appears for a club in seven different seasons has to be classed as a good signing and a loyal servant. Jacko played in a play-off campaign, a title season, and also in two difficult transition periods at the end of the Appleton era and through the Kennedy one.
Before us, he spent a year at Hibernian after leaving Barnsley, then moved to LN5 for an undisclosed fee in August 2020. What began with a two-year contract became a six-year stay encompassing 179 appearances, five goals and our 2025/26 League One title. Jackson left by mutual consent in September 2026 and joined Bromley this week.
