Matt Jarvis
33-year-old Jarvis has most recently been training with Gillingham, but didn’t take up the option of returning for a further trial with Steve Evans. I like him already.
He’s had a bit of time out of the game and perhaps won’t have the electric pace he once possessed, but he’s an experienced player who might have a bit to offer in the same way Shacks and Eards have. He will have played with Shacks too, at Wolves in 2009.
He’s had an England cap, played seven seasons in the top flight and is without a club. Could he be a man we bring in to cover? Much would depend on the wages but we’ve already covered that little angle, haven’t we?
