Tashan Oakley-Boothe
On loan: 2022/23, announced 27 June 2022
Parent club: Stoke City
Tashan Oakley-Boothe arrived with an eye-catching youth pedigree, having come through Tottenham Hotspur’s academy and helped England win the Under-17 World Cup in 2017. He moved to Stoke City in January 2020 before joining us on a season-long loan two years later. The midfielder made 25 appearances for the Imps across all competitions, including 16 in League One.
Tashan summed up the Kennedy era for me. Lots of hope, but nothing tangible to show for it. Kennedy said he’d noted Tashan’s name during his time watching Under 21s and that the signing came with his blessing – I didn’t believe him then, and I still don’t. Even with those England honours, nothing screamed potential about his performances.
After leaving Stoke, Oakley-Boothe had spells with Blackpool and Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora before joining Dunfermline Athletic in February 2025. He played in the 2026 Scottish Cup final, having scored the decisive penalty in the semi-final shootout against Falkirk. His latest move has taken him to Eastern in the Hong Kong Premier League, with his signing recorded on 27 October 2026.
