The Worst Lincoln City Transfer Window Speculation EFL Era

I know you all love a good listicle, and with the transfer window talk ramping up, I thought I’d look at some of the worst media speculation we’d seen as Lincoln City fans.

You know what I mean – the Imps being linked with players that just made no sense. Moves that to the untrained eye, were just never going to happen.

I did toy with the idea of doing to worst winter window signings of the EFL era, and I might just do that (you love things with ‘worst’ in the title, but ‘best’ perform badly). For now, I thought I’d look back at all the speculation from the past nine years, and pull the moves that at the time seemed bad, and with hindsight, also seem like they were bad.
