Ten Free Agents That Might Interest Lincoln City In The Championship

Jed Wallace

Jed Wallace has long been regarded as one of the Championship’s most dependable wide players, carving out an impressive career after emerging from non-league football with Farnborough and Lewes before breaking through at Portsmouth. His form at Fratton Park earned him a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2015, although it was with Millwall where he truly established himself as a second-tier standout. Across five full seasons with the Lions, Wallace delivered goals, assists and relentless energy from wide areas, helping Millwall become consistent Championship challengers before joining West Bromwich Albion in 2022.

Statistically, Wallace’s season reflected his all-action style rather than outright end product. He averaged 32.2 passes per 90 with a respectable 67.3 per cent accuracy, while also contributing more than 15 duels and 13 recoveries per game. Wallace may no longer be at the peak of his powers, but his experience, flexibility and relentless work-rate still make him a valuable Championship operator. He has a depth of experience, and appeared 24 times for West Brom across the campaign.
