13: Zak Bradshaw
Zak Bradshaw developed within the Ipswich Town academy and signed his first professional contract at Portman Road in 2022. His senior experience was gathered away from Suffolk through loan spells with Bury Town, Chelmsford City, Bromley and Braintree Town, with the defender scoring twice during seven league appearances for the latter. A further loan at Woking brought 20 appearances across all competitions and persuaded Lincoln City to sign him on a permanent basis.
Bradshaw was classed as a project player, but he just never landed at City. He didn’t appear once, and while we’d seen him as a possible left wing back, our style and success evolved and he didn’t. I don’t even have an image of him, which is a reflection of his impact. That’s no slur: he’s gone on to prove us right and wrong in establishing himself in League One.
Bradshaw left the Imps for Cambridge United in 2025 after loan spells with Dundalk and Tranmere Rovers, although City retained a future interest in him. He helped Cambridge win promotion from League Two during his first season and subsequently scored his first league goal in League One.
