Regan Poole
Regan Poole had already underlined his importance by winning our Player of the Season award when Appleton departed, and he remained a central figure during the following campaign. He left at the end of his contract in 2023, joining Portsmouth that July after making clear his ambition to play at a higher level.
That move eventually brought Championship football, while October 2023 also saw him make his senior Wales debut. Poole remains at Fratton Park, having turned the consistency and leadership we saw at Sincil Bank into a sustained career with Pompey.
