Michael Appleton’s Last Lincoln City Squad: Where Are They Now?

Lasse Sorensen

Lasse Sorensen’s best Lincoln days were still ahead of him when he came off for Hopper against Crewe, with his first season something of a damp squib. He remained for another two seasons, developing into an important attacking outlet and producing that extraordinary goal from his own half against Wycombe Wanderers in April 2023.

By the time Huddersfield Town signed him in June 2024, he had made 136 appearances and scored ten goals for the Imps. Sorensen remains with the Terriers, having signed a three-year contract when he left Sincil Bank, although his outings have been limited this season. Like Wright, he is another who survived both Appleton and Kennedy.
