The Ten Players Who Always Scored Against Lincoln City

7 – Adam Le Fondre, 12 appearances, 6 goals

Here is a player I fully expected to see appear. Adam Le Fondre came through at Stockport County and made his name properly after a 2007 loan to Rochdale became a permanent move, followed by a prolific stay at Rotherham United from 2009 to 2011. Reading took him into the Championship and then the Premier League, where his knack for goals off the bench became a major part of his profile between 2011 and 2014. Cardiff City followed, with loan spells at Bolton Wanderers, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic, before a permanent Bolton return preceded his later career away from the EFL.

He scored just once for Rochdale against us, but had a lot of fun while at Rotherham, netting five in three matches as we lost 2-0, 2-1 and 2-1.
