5 – Harry Lee, 5 appearances, 6 goals

Harry Lee’s Football League story is almost entirely tied to Fulham, where he had two spells either side of time with Reading. He first appeared for Fulham in 1907–08, then returned from 1912 to 1919 and produced his best league return in the 1914–15 Second Division season. After the war, he moved on to Gillingham for 1919–20, although his League record is chiefly remembered through that Fulham spell.

He really did stick it to us, scoring more than a goal a game! They came in succesive matches between January 1914 and March 1915, with five coming at Cravem Cottage including a hat trick as we lost 3-1 there, and three across two matches in the 1913/14 season.
