Sean Roughan
Roughan was called out by Kennedy after we lost 2-0 against Peterborough, and was dropped for the Burton game. However, he continued to develop after Kennedy’s departure, winning our Young Player of the Season award for 2023/24 before playing every minute of our league and FA Cup matches the following campaign under Michael Skubala.
City offered him a new contract, but he joined Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2025 on a three-year deal, with compensation payable to the Imps. His debut against Leyton Orient ended early through injury, although he recovered to make 32 league appearances during his first season with the Terriers. He’s injured again, out since the opening fixture of the season for the Terriers.
