Ethan Erhahon
Erhahon remained central to our midfield after Kennedy’s departure and was voted Players’ Player of the Season at the end of 2023/24. He thrived under Michael Skubala in the latter stages of the season, and it’s believed we fielded offers in the region of £1m for him that summer.
He stayed for another campaign, but clearly something went awry, and he ended up joining Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £750,000, in July 2025. He was originally at Wigan, ready to pen a deal with them, before heading to the Trotters, signing a four-year contract after making 107 appearances for City. His first season with Bolton brought promotion through the League One play-offs, and he is now playing Championship football with Wanderers.
