Lasse Sorensen
Sorensen remained a major part of our side after Kennedy’s departure, finishing 2023/24 with six goals in 51 appearances across all competitions and collecting the Partners’ Player of the Season award. City exercised the option in his contract that summer, but he subsequently joined Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee in June 2024, signing a three-year deal.
He left us with 136 appearances and ten goals to his name and continued playing regularly for the Terriers, where Sean Roughan later joined him. He’s recently fallen down the pecking order under new boss Martin Drury.
