Jack Burroughs
Burroughs completed his season-long loan with City, making 35 appearances in all competitions and scoring against Notts County in the EFL Trophy the month after the Burton defeat. He never really got back into the team under Michael Skubala, instead he was often overlooked in favour of our own players.
Back at Coventry City, his next loan took him to Kilmarnock in August 2024, although he was recalled the following January. Coventry released him at the end of 2024/25, and he subsequently signed a two-year deal with Northampton Town in May 2025, returning to League One on a permanent basis, and then League Two as the Cobblers were relegated. He’s now a teammate of Imps keeper Zach Jeacock.
