Peter Gain
Peter Gain became a central figure in the Keith Alexander years, remaining with us until 2005 and making 227 league appearances across his initial loan and permanent spells. After rejecting a new contract at Sincil Bank, he joined Peterborough United on a three-year deal and made 71 league appearances for them, scoring nine times.
He moved to Dagenham & Redbridge in January 2008 and enjoyed promotion through the League Two play-offs in 2010, finally getting the success that had eluded us during his Lincoln years. Peter stayed with the Daggers until his release in May 2012, having made another 149 league appearances.
