The reported fee for Andrei Coubis is £2.6m, a number widely circulated in the Romanian press. I believe that to reach that figure, he’d have to hit certain triggers, which could include promotion to the Premier League, international caps, and even Team of the Year appearances.

There is likely to be a significant upfront fee, and for the purposes of the graphic below, I have assumed that to be around £1.5m, but that isn’t something reported or given to me in confidence.
