Jock Dodds was a huge character who has already had an article all of his own on the site. He was a top-class centre forward when he signed for us, leaving Everton for a jaw-dropping fee. He played two seasons with the Imps, scoring 38 goals in 62 matches.
Whether that represents value for money is another thing entirely, but there is no doubt he put bums on seats at the Bank during his tenure.
